Plaintiff struck on the head by falling merchandise in Renton, WA
58-year-old Plaintiff suffered a mild traumatic brain injury because of being struck on the head by a falling bundle of lumber at a local hardware store. Residual effects of the injuries compromised the plaintiff’s ability to do some of the work he had been performing at the time of the incident. Defendant denied responsibility for the incident.
The parties agreed to binding Arbitration.
Result: Award in favor of the plaintiff for $1,152,854, including $125,00 loss of consortium to plaintiff’s spouse.
