Charlotte grew up in the Seattle area, graduated from the University of Washington and has been a practicing attorney on the Eastside for over thirty years. Our Legal Staff
Mike Wagner
Mike was born in Phoenix, Arizona. As a military brat, he has lived in numerous locations, including Texas, Mississippi, Montana, Arizona, Japan, and the Philippines. In 1983 he moved to Washington and soon began working in the insurance industry.
Mike worked in health insurance, starting as a medical claims processor and eventually becoming the Microsoft Claims Supervisor. At some point along the way, Mike found his niche in health insurance subrogation, specializing in self-funded ERISA plans. He did this for over 15 years working for Aetna and Premera Blue Cross until he got his paralegal degree in 2015.
Now, as a paralegal for Cascade Injury Law, he has a passion for using his background in insurance, case management, and subrogation to help injured people achieve the best possible outcomes in motor vehicle collisions, slip and fall accidents, and other incidents involving negligence. He works closely with clients, providers, adjusters, opposing counsel, and others to help clients achieve the justice they deserve.
Mike is married and has a feisty cat named Moxie. He enjoys playing fantasy football, visiting theme parks, and is addicted to iced mochas with brown sugar. Mike also loves to travel and has the goal of visiting every fantastic place in the world!
April Kallberg
April Kallberg is a Legal Assistant at Cascade Injury Law, where she plays a vital role in supporting both clients and attorneys with a combination of precision, dedication, and strong client service.
A graduate from the University of Washington’s Michael G Foster School of Business, she brings valuable experience working with small businesses and dynamic team environments.

Outside of her professional life, April finds joy in exploring the great Pacific Northwest whether hiking, paddleboarding, practicing yoga, or enjoying live music at concerts. Her positive attitude, adaptable skill set, and commitment to excellence make her an integral part of the Cascade Injury Law team.
